THE MUSIC AND WORSHIP MINISTRY AT COVENANT:
Our vision as the Music and Worship Ministry of Covenant is driven by our pursuit of excellence along with our strong commitment to establish and equip believers for sacred times of praise and worship. The vision, that spans all ages and backgrounds, is revealed in three interrelated purposes:
1. To train and develop every child's God-given abilities, both spiritually and musically.
2. To engage in corporate worship, including all types of worshipful music: performing and proclaiming it, using our very best ability, and doing it all to the glory of God. All believers, young, and old, can participate and are involved in worship.
3. To exalt the Lord our God is with all our heart and voice!
ONGOING MUSIC AND WORSHIP MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES
AT COVENANT PRESBYTERIAN:
Covenant Chancel Choir:
The Chancel Choir is an all-volunteer group; the only requirements to join are the love to sing and a desire to lead in corporate worship. The Chancel Choir assists in leading worship on Sundays, special worship celebrations, and occasional special concerts. The choir rehearses each Wednesday evening from 6:30-8PM.
Soloists/Instrumentalists:
There are many opportunities throughout the year for vocalists
and instrumentalists to share their musical gifts as soloists or in small ensembles.

Covenant Music Clubs is a wonderful opportunity for kids (K4-6th grade) to learn about worshipping and praising God through music and song in a structured, fun environment.
There are three age-specific clubs that meet Wednesdays from 5-6PM. The Music Clubs sing several times each semester, individually and together. There are needs for choir moms, pianists and director’s assistants. Please contact the Music Office if you are interested in serving in this area.

The Handbell Choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 5:00 pm, and performs periodically throughout the year.

PowerPoint operators assist in the Sunday Worship services by operating the PowerPoint presentation during the Service. Please contact the Music Office if you are interested in serving in this area.
Audio Assistants:

Audio assistants help with the audio aspects of our Sunday morning services by assisting in setup/takedown, and by running the soundboard. No experience is necessary, but musical/audio experience is always a plus. Please contact the Music Office if you are interested in serving in this area.
