Weekly Devotions

These downloadable devotionals consist of three lessons and three Bible stories per week. The lessons follow the pattern of learning established in the Westminster Shorter Catechism. Proof texts that support each Catechism question are the basis for each lesson. The Biblical setting and verse meaning for each verse sets the stage for the application section that is geared for elementary age children. The application section is entitled "Let's Say a Kid...." due to its kid-friendly focus. The Bible Story section is intended as a reading plan for your child to read through the major stories of the Bible in one year.

How to Use: Parents may use the lessons/Bible stories in any format providing 3,4,5 or 6 days of devotional focus per week.

For example: 3 devotions/week: use each of 3 lessons 4 devotions/week: use 3 lessons + a story 5 devotions/week: use 3 lessons + 2 stories 6 devotions/week: use 3 lessons + 3 stories
